For high school drama programs, community theaters and youth groups: write and perform a short kindness skit, a few minutes long, and the whole thing gets seen far beyond your auditorium. Bring AOK Man on stage, or do it your own way. With or without AOK Man, anonymous acts of kindness must go on.

AOK Man arrived at auditions certain there was a role for an International Anonymous Acts of Kindness Superhero. The director was less certain. Negotiations, and cookies, are ongoing.
Show business runs close to AOK Man. A friend of a friend's mother played Maria in the original West Side Story on Broadway, stepping in after Carol Lawrence. She never coached him personally. The stage coach Gloria hired anyway, over his objections, recommended he keep a low profile. AOK Man chose yellow formal wear.
"Well, obviously, it's all about who you know." · AOK Man
For your program
Your students perform alongside AOK Man himself, friend of a friend of a Broadway Maria. He'll tell them so. More than once. Or keep him in the wings and do it your own way.
In AOK World, a Blaze is someone who organizes kindness rather than only doing it. Two flames side by side. Putting on a kindness skit is exactly that, and your program receives the tablet to prove it.
Your own page, a gift that promotes your program: your current show and its dates, your events, your fundraising, your kindness story, and the skit you made. Any money it raises goes to your program.
The Kindness Skit Contest
When ten teams from the region sign up, the date and the prize are announced to everyone at once. Write a short skit about a kindness given, received or missed. Funny is welcome. True is better.
